Simcenter FloEFD 是市面上唯一真正整合於世界知名之主要 3-D CAD 系統的 CFD 分析軟體工具，支援輸入Siemens NX、Pro/E/CREO、SolidWorks、CATIA V5、等原始3-D CAD檔案以及常見的CAD中繼檔，如Parasolid、IGES、STEP、ASIC、VDAFS、ST、 IDF、DXF、DWG等格式的模型文件。FloEFD 是一套學習快速易上手的 CFD 軟體，它完整的功能可以應用於三維氣流場及熱傳現象的分析。不同於其他傳統高階 CFD 軟體使用者需要豐富的學理基礎及網格建構技巧，使用者僅需要基本程度的CFD概念就可以完成高準確度的分析，為目前泛用型CFD的軟體之主流。
